When I’m not deep amongst RidgeMonkey work or filming rare species in Taiwan, I offer creative design services. It’s definitely not a sideline, my thirst for creating is always hungry. A lot of that work focuses on branding and building strong creative assets, from visual identity and tone of voice through to film, photography and campaign content. Everything is underpinned by strategic marketing, designed to capture the imagination, connect with the right audience and help brands stand out with clarity and confidence.
I offer a full range of creative services, from brand strategy and visual direction through to clear brand identification, including web design and build, exhibition design, printed literature and social graphics, all created to work consistently across every touchpoint.
My availability is limited, but I do take on projects in evenings and at weekends. I’m not the cheapest option, but if you’re looking for experienced, professional work that delivers meaningful results, that’s what I bring to the table.
Spanning over 30 years, I’ve built up experience working with everyone from blue chip brands to local SMEs. That breadth has shaped how I approach each project, understanding different scales, budgets and goals while keeping the creative clear and effective. No matter the size of the business, the focus is always on delivering work that supports growth and communicates with confidence.
If you have a project that could benefit from some creative direction, just pickup the phone.
I recently completed a shoot for the RSPB, showcasing three models from their optics range at Minsmere Reserve in Suffolk. The collection featured a blend of lifestyle and product photography in a real-world setting. The client was extremely pleased with the final results.
A studio shoot was completed for Viking Optical, delivering over 80 product images with 4–8 shots per item for ongoing marketing. The focus was on clean, consistent visuals that highlight design, build quality and real-world use across campaigns and product launches.
A lifestyle shoot was delivered for RidgeMonkey Outdoors in Snowdonia, capturing products in real outdoor environments. The focus was on natural backgrounds and practical use, creating versatile imagery that supports lifestyle marketing, campaign assets and long term brand storytelling.
My photo and video work is built around a reliable, professional setup designed for real-world use in challenging environments. I work within the Sony ecosystem, which allows seamless integration across cameras, lenses and accessories, giving me consistency, speed and confidence in the field. This setup supports everything from wildlife stills and long-form films to commercial and brand-led projects, ensuring high-quality results whether I’m working solo or on assignment.
If you’d like me to review your gear in real-world field conditions, please get in contact. I focus on honest, practical use in the environments I work in, showcasing how products perform when it really matters.
